The 474TFW groups were assigned to the 347th TFW whilst based in Thailand for South East Asia Operations in the late 60's & early 70's.
On returning to the USA, the 347th was redesignated as the 366th TFW at Mtn Home AFB and all aircraft and support were also transfered.

A Bomb / Nav TCTO mod - Packard Pack and Sentinel Loc,. evidently it was for E and F models to upgrade some avionics beginning in 1972 through 73. changed the NDDP panel for easier data entry. (Nav Data Display Panel ?) and INS panel, upgrading parts to full digital system. and connecting the new system to bomb release, integrating the systems. Ira Young was on E models at Cannon AFB at the time. I would guess a young airman then. we both were surprised at how close I got it , he said several times, "Bill, that was 30 years ago", he did not know of the patches since they were probably developed by the B/N people at Mountain Home 347th TFW.
These patches were not strictly official but they are significant to the modifications / TCTOs.
