hey curt morrison here yes i got info on 715 it was assigned to the 495 green section we were the training section the crew chief,s name was ssgt mike swofford the jet was parked two spots from mine 713 any how the spot was haunted cause 714 used to be parked were 715 was parked and it also crashed well the nut that held the stablizer rod to the axle broke causeing the axle to just hang there tire and all well the powers at lakenheath were putting there minds together so they sent a tanker up to refuel 715 well the tanker took a shit also while refueling 715 so now we got two broke jets flying around east angelia well they fixed the tanker and told 715 to land so here comes 715 hook down and then the fun started some body in the control tower said your hook isnt down so the air crew pop it into burner but the hook was down and they did engage the cable but you can only go so far until the cable stops you well the jet slammed on to the run way and skidded along way when it stopped all you saw was two figures running like hell and all this was at night the buildings that housed the spools for the cable caught on fire from the friction the next day they had us out doing a mass fod walk looking for the nut i found a pylon panel from a f-100 well they also flew a rf-4 to take pictures we kinda mooned it well it was a mess but when i was at cannon i was out on the ramp and there was 715 all rebuilt and heading back to lakenheath so i hope this helps you any more accidents let me know later morrison
